Any way to fix the OS Database?

Is there any way to fix or remove an item in the OS database? Is there a local OS database in addition to the OS database on the autoscan-network.com website? If so, where is this information stored?

on a apple time capsule.

using the wizard
new,
local network (is the name important?)
no options

localhost

correct network interface is shown, with correct IP

shows no devices connected ???

view shows no tree?

what do i do wrong?

help much appreciated.

I've installed Autoscan on a windows 7 pc, but once I open the app it does not pick up my network adapter and then window says not responding.

Can someone help me please

Autoscan a disparu de la logithèque d'Ubuntu, au moins dans la dernière version Lucid Lynx 10.04.
Dommage c'est super pratique.
L'installation du paquet téléchargé ici ne donne rien non plus, elle semble planter après gksu.

Ubuntu and AutoScan - Network

I have been using AutoScan in backtrack for a while without a problem. Gotbored and decided to switch.

So I decided to use ubuntu 9.10 and install AutoScan. Extracted the file installed ia terminal, but when I start autoscan it just seems to sit there.

The status bar for "Local Network" is empty.

Any suggestions would be great.

How to scan a remote network

Hi,
I need to scan a remote (VPN connected) network. I've added the network with the wizard but, if I select the location of the needed to scan network as "localhost" it doesn't work (or maybe the FW is blocking something). Unfortunately I don't know what does it mean the option "connected to host".
Can someone help me in order to find out how to fix this issue?

Uninstall AutoScan on Mac OS X

Any tips on how to uninstall this app?
The installation process creates lots of file on /opt/ directory and as opposed to linux there's no uninstallation script

Downloaded app from Version Tracker.

Installed it from the downloaded file: AutoScan-Network-1.42-patch1.pkg

When I run the application the message pops up:

You can't open the application "autoscan-network.app" because it is not supported on this architecture

Mac OS X Version 10.5.8
Dual 2GHz PowerPC G5 (3.0)
1.5 GB DDR SDRAM
Broadcom 5421

Version Tracker advertises it is compatible with 10.5 Power PC.

Can you help?
